Susceptibility of common bedding plants to root-knot nematodes

Several common ornamental bedding plants were each inoculated with 1000 juveniles of Meloidogyne arenaria race 1. After nearly 3 months, plants were rated for root galling, egg mass production and numbers of nematodes produced per plant.
