Susceptibility of different nymphal and adult stages of two strains of the German cockroach to lambda-cyhalothrin

The various development stages of 2 strains of Blattella germanica, the Selangor strain ("Strain A") and the Muncie strain ("Strain B"), were tested for differences in susceptibility against a pyrethroid insecticide, lambda-cyhalothrin, by topical application. The "Strain B" cockroaches were found to show an average of 2.6 times more tolerance than the "Strain A" cockroaches.
