Susceptibility of fruit tree rootstocks to crown gall (Agrobacterium tumefaciens)

All 5 fruit tree rootstocks evaluated for susceptibility to 9 A. tumefaciens strains were susceptible during the period of high cambial activity, especially at bloom time. Different strains from different hosts showed no pathogenic specialization to particular rootstock species.
