Laboratory and field studies (conducted in Egypt) were carried out to evaluate the susceptibilities of 3 maize varieties to mite infestation, the relationship between infestation and chemical content of maize, fluctuations in mite populations throughout the season and the toxicity of maize and camphor oils on Tetranychus arabicus.
