Results are given of investigations in 1988-90 on insect infestation of 3 cultivars of yellow lupin (Lupinus luteus) (Orbit, Iryd and Ventus) and 3 of narrow-leaf lupin (L. angustifolius) (Sur, Emir and Mirela) in Poland. Insects were represented by Thysanoptera, Homoptera (aphids), Heteroptera and Coleoptera. Thysanoptera were the most, and Coleoptera the least, numerous. All occurred on both species, but total numbers of all 4 groups were greater on L. luteus.
