Susceptibility of the cat flea, Ctenocephalides felis (Siphonaptera: Pulicidae) to four pyrethroids

Susceptibility of the cat flea, Ctenocephalides felis (Siphonaptera: Pulicidae) to four pyrethroids

Parasite 4(1): 91-93

The amounts of bioallethrin, deltamethrin, esbiothrin isomer of allethrin) and permethrin required to kill adult C. felis on insecticide-impregnated filter papers were determined. The LD50 and LD90 against C. felis were 121 and 770 mg/msuperscript 2, respectively, for bioallethrin, and 161 and 671 mg/msuperscript 2, respectively, for esbiothrin.
