Susceptibility of the cocoa mirid, Helopeltis theivora Waterhouse, to gamma -HCH, cypermethrin and deltamethrin



Resistant Pest Management 9(1): 34-37



The susceptibility of Helopeltis theivora from cocoa, in Serdang, Malaysia, to gamma -HCH cypermethrin and deltamethrin was evaluated by time-response and topical application techniques. Cypermethrin and deltamethrin were more toxic than lindane. An increase in LT50s over a period of 10 years indicated impending resistance.
