Susceptibility of the housefly to several synthetic insecticides in Nepal

Susceptibility of the housefly to several synthetic insecticides in Nepal

Japanese Journal of Sanitary Zoology 45(SUPPL ): 287-290

Houseflies collected from six places in Nepal in August 1992 and colonized in the laboratory were examined for susceptibility to eight insecticides by a topical application method. Most adult houseflies were more susceptible to the insecticides tested than those of the susceptible strain (Takatsuki). Two pyrethroid insecticides, d-t, allethrin and permethrin, showed low LD-50 values.
