In field experiments in 1992-95 at Anakapalle the effects of applying organic manures (FYM, Crotalaria juncea green manure, pressmud cake and cane trash) to plant sugarcane, along with 100% or 50% of the recommended N rates to all crops in the rotation were investigated in a plant sugarcane/ratoon sugarcane/sesame/rice rotation.
