Sustainable control efficacy of Paecilomyces lilacinus against Heterodera glycines

Four isolates of nematophagous fungi, Paecilomyces lilacinus, were cultured on solid substrates of sawdust and cottonseed shell and tested for controlling H. glycines in field plots during 1992-1994. The control efficacy in the inoculation year (1992) was 45%-69%. The sustainable control efficacy was 22.5%-33.7% in 1993 and 7.3%-22.9% in 1994.
