Sustainable intensive livestock-based systems in Vietnam

The importance of livestock farming in Vietnam is outlined. The main types of farming system practised in Vietnam are described. These are: traditional intensive livestock-based smallholder system; rice/duck systems; intensive pig production; peri-urban dairy production; buffalo/cattle-rice systems; and livestock-aquaculture systems.
