Sustainable peri-urban vegetable production and natural resources management in Nepal

A diagnostic survey was conducted by a multidisciplinary team in Bhaktapur, Dhading, and Bara districts in Nepal to gain a better qualitative and quantitative understanding of vegetable cultivation in districts which are important for Kathmandu's daily vegetable supplies; and to elicit farmers' perceptions about biotic and abiotic growing constraints.
