Sustainable small farm development in sub-humid zones of India

The paper notes the particular difficulties that small farmers have in the sub-humid zones of India. Problems are compounded because they have not been given the attention by development planners that other regions have benefited from. It calls for a range of appropriate technologies that will promote agricultural production and generate income. Such technologies need to be socially acceptable, culturally compatible and economically feasible.
