Sharing the earth: local identity in global culture: 33-44

This paper describes a series of initiatives, mostly arts and crafts related, which have been the outcome of responding to the voice of different ethnic cultures within the USA. In many cases these have stemmed from group dissatisfaction with the way their own cultural heritage has been interpreted by others.
