Sweet sorghum - a supplementary sugar crop in Iran

Juice from stalks of 8 sweet sorghum cultivars was clarified by one of 4 methods: defecation, sulphitation, carbonatation or acidification. Clarified juices were also treated by deionization or crystallization. Cultivar Rio and Sel 29 had the best juice quality with high sugar content.
