The complementary roles of potassium and phosphorus in the fertilization of permanent pasture. Part 1. Effects on yields and botanical composition of forage
In a field experiment in 1983-86 near Piacenza, Italy, permanent pasture was given 0, 100, 300 or 500 kg N ha-1 year-1 and 124.5 kg K or 65.5 kg P ha-1 year-1. DM yields generally increased with increasing N rate, while K and P also increased yields, with K showing a slightly greater effect.
