The complementary roles of potassium and phosphorus in the fertilization of permanent pasture. Part 1. Effects on yields and botanical composition of forage

, : The complementary roles of potassium and phosphorus in the fertilization of permanent pasture. Part 1. Effects on yields and botanical composition of forage. Annali della Facolta di Agraria, Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Milano 35(1/2): 3-33

In a field experiment in 1983-86 near Piacenza, Italy, permanent pasture was given 0, 100, 300 or 500 kg N ha-1 year-1 and 124.5 kg K or 65.5 kg P ha-1 year-1. DM yields generally increased with increasing N rate, while K and P also increased yields, with K showing a slightly greater effect.
