The content of some vitamins in wheat and barley grown on organic farms

Potravinarske Vedy 13(6): 437-450
The content of some vitamins in wheat and barley grown on organic farms
Seven wheat and 5 barley cultivars were grown organically or by conventional farming methods on clay loam soil near Prague and the grain was analysed for vitamin contents. Grain thiamin and riboflavin (water-soluble vitamin) contents were lower from organic than from conventional grain samples. Lipid-soluble vitamin contents were unaffected by farming methods.
