The contingent valuation of environmental resources: methodological issues and research needs

The contingent valuation of environmental resources: methodological issues and research needs

The contingent valuation of environmental resources: methodological issues and research needs: x + 305 pp.

The book features 15 papers examining the current state of the art in the valuation of environmental resources and, in particular, the meaningfulness of environmental resource values obtained through the contingent valuation method. A fuller understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the methodology is developed and a research agenda to improve estimates of environmental resource values is discussed.
