The effects of crop rotations on the structure stability of a reddish-brown soil from Moara Domneasca

Results from field experiments carried out between 1990-1992 in Southern Romania indicated that the water stability of soil aggregates in the upper layers of a reddish-brown soil was significantly improved by the inclusion of Medicago sativa as cover crop. More moderate results were given by wheat and maize in monoculture.
