The granule formulation of selective rice herbicide cyhalofop butyl

The granule formulation of selective rice herbicide cyhalofop butyl

Weed Research, Japan 41(3): 205-210

Cyhalofop-butyl (XDE 537; butyl (R)-2-(4-(4-cyano-2-fluorophenoxy)phenoxy)propionate) is a selective rice graminicide, which can control Echinochloa crus-galli up to the 5- to 6-leaf stage by foliar application. Different commercial ester products on KCl core granules of this herbicide were evaluated for improved bioefficacy in greenhouse and field trials in Japan. Among them, di-tridecyl phthalate showed enhanced efficacy significantly above that of cyhalofop-butyl EC formulation.
