Field studies were carried out during 1993-95 in Denmark on a sandy loam soil to test the tolerance of peas to herbicide mixtures containing phenmedipham and/or MCPA, or phenmedipham + desmedipham + ethofumesate. The influence of oil additives was also investigated. Crop tolerance and crop yield were compared to 2 standard herbicide mixtures containing pendimethalin, bentazone and MCPA. All herbicides and herbicide mixtures were tested at 2 dose rates (normal and double rates).
