A stochastic algorithm for simulating transport of kinetically reacting solutes

A stochastic algorithm for simulating transport of kinetically reacting solutes

Hydroinformatics ' 98 Proceedings of the Third International Conference on Hydroinformatics, Copenhagen, Denmark, 24-26 August 1998 Volume 2: 1161-1168

A stochastic approach for the simulation of reactive transport processes was presented. Transport and reactions were decoupled using an alternating operator splitting method. For the advective and diffusive changes of concentration, a random walk particle method was used.
