A study of culture of citrus triploid plantlets

A total of 113 plantlets, 89% of which were triploid, were obtained from a cross between an allotetraploid somatic hybrid (Citrus sinensis Hamlin x C. jambhiri) as the pollen parent and a mono-embryonic diploid citrus type (Ichang Papeda (C. ichangensis) x Huanong Bendizao (C. reticulata)).
