A study on Phytophthora capsici's genetic resistance to metalaxyl and cymoxanil

Twenty nine metalaxyl-resistant mutants and 6 cymoxanil-resistant mutants of P. capsici were obtained through mutagenesis of N-methyl-N'-nitrosoguanidine (MNNG). The results suggest that the resistance to metalaxyl and cymoxanil of P. capsici can be stably inherited by zoospore and oospore populations.
