A study on erosion resistance of the soil of a terrace edge bund with prickly ash
Indexes of the erosion resistance of the soil of a terrace edge bund in China, planted (or not planted) with prickly ash were measured. Planting with prickly ash was shown to conserve the bund soil and reinforce the bund significantly. The contents of humus, water stable aggregates and air drying rate of the aggregate in the surface soil of the planted bund were more than those in the non-planted bund.
