Accuracy of the estimation of multilocus genetic distance

Accuracy of the estimation of multilocus genetic distance

Acta Veterinaria et Zootechnica Sinica 29(2): 128-131

Data were analysed on samples of randomly selected individuals from livestock populations of fixed size. Breeds with different expectations of genetic distance between them had a similar accuracy of distance estimation. The accuracy of estimation increased as sample size increased, and that of multilocus genetic distance was higher than the accuracy estimated using Nei's measure of genetic distance.
