, : Alteration pattern of chlorophyll level and chlorophyllase activity in tobacco leaves during senescence. Journal of Living World 5(2): 29-32

The chlorophyll level and activity of chlorophyllase were determined in tobacco leaves aged between 10 and 100 days old. The chlorophyll content gradually increased from young growing leaves until the leaves attained full expansion and then decreased at a linear rate until the senescent stage.
