Alterations in kidney enzyme pattern in acute hypervitaminosis A

Alterations in enzyme activity in the kidney was observed in rats receiving daily intramuscular injections of retinol palmitate (RP) 10.0, 30.0, 50.0 and 100.0 IU over 7 days. A comparison was made with enzyme activities in healthy rats pair-fed and treated with sodium palmitate by intramuscular injection (controls).
