An analysis of the flora of Churu (north Rajasthan)



Journal of Economic and Taxonomic Botany 21(3): 697-702



In a survey of the flora of Churu, northern Rajasthan, India, 398 species belonging to 255 genera in 68 families of flowering plants were identified. Poaceae and Fabaceae were the largest families amongst monocotyledons and dicotyledons, respectively. The ratio of monocotyledon to dicotyledon was 1:5.6 (families), 1:3.5 (genera) and 1:3.5 (species).
