An analysis of the utilisation of material resources in processing industry enterprises

Food processing is one of the most material-intensive branches of the agroindustrial complex in Russia. In recent years neither the quantity nor quality of raw materials delivered to processing plants has been sufficient to sustain proper levels of output or economic utilisation of capacity. Large agricultural enterprises remain the principal suppliers of many commodities. One of the main priorities for processing plants should be complex utilisation of raw materials and byproducts.
