An assessment of background characteristics of women farmers of Assam engaged in rice based farming system

Family characteristics, socio-psychological characteristics, and rice farming were studied in two agroclimatic zones of Assam: Jorhat and Nagaon. The study area and 250 respondents (125 from each area) were selected through multistage random sampling technique.
