Aspects of merchantable volume determination for Eucalyptus grandis Hill ex Maiden

, : Aspects of merchantable volume determination for Eucalyptus grandis Hill ex Maiden. Revista do Instituto Florestal 8(2): 201-203

Merchantable volumes of Eucalyptus grandis trees from the Experimental Station at Tupi, Sao Paulo, Brazil, were calculated by Smalian, Huber, Newton and modified Pressler equations (the latter seldom utilized in Brazil), and the estimates compared with the direct determination of the volumes obtained by water displacement.
