Assessment of yield and economics of long term integrated nutrient management in rice-rice system in coastal region

Integrated nutrient supply was investigated for a rice-rice cropping system at several sites in coastal India. Twelve fertilizer treatments comprised different combinations of 50-100% of recommended NPK applied as inorganic fertilizer and 25-50% applied as compost/farmyard manure, green manure or crop residues. The rabi crop was given only inorganic fertilizers and the kharif crop combinations of organic and inorganic sources.
