Association analysis between physio-chemical parameters with seed yield in Indian mustard under normal and saline environments

Leaf samples of 4 genotypes of Brassica juncea and 3 crosses between them, grown in saline (125 meq/litre) and control environments, were collected at flower initiation and analysed for chemical composition. Yield and seedling vigour were also monitored. Seed yield was positively correlated with chlorophyll content, and seedling vigour was negatively correlated with proline content in the control environment.
