Backpacker hostels and their guests: attitudes and behaviours relating to sustainable tourism

Noting the size and importance of the Australian backpacker market, this study investigates what types of ecofriendly practices are being implemented by the six backpacker hostels in Byron Bay; and determines whether the implementation of ecofriendly practices by hostel operators influences backpackers' choice of accommodation in Byron Bay.
