Residues of quinalphos were estimated by gas-liquid chromatograph equipped with a N-P detector in brinjal harvested after the 5th spray. Initial residues of 1.60 to 2.15 p.p.m. reached maximum residue limit of 0.25 p.p.m. in 3.16 to 4.72 days in spray treatments with 500 to 1000 g a.i./ha/spray.
