Ecophysiological analysis of transpiration behaviour of three forest trees (Pinus brutia, Pinus nigra var. pallasiana, Pinus pinea) during summer

Ecophysiological analysis of transpiration behaviour of three forest trees (Pinus brutia, Pinus nigra var. pallasiana, Pinus pinea) during summer

Istanbul Universitesi Orman Fakultesi Dergisi Seri A 44(1): 111-121

Changes over time in cumulative transpiration, cuticular transpiration, sap potential, relative turgidity, and stomatal movement were studied in Pinus brutia, P. nigra and P. pinea in an arboretum near Istanbul, Turkey, in order to determine the differences in drought tolerance between the species.
