Effect of buffer and corn grain supplements on roughage intake and nutrient digestion by lambs fed mixture of berseem and rice straw

Effect of buffer and corn grain supplements on roughage intake and nutrient digestion by lambs fed mixture of berseem and rice straw

Egyptian Journal of Nutrition and Feeds 2(2): 57-65

Ten Ossimi lambs (35 kg) were used in a balanced double 5 x 5 Latin square design to determine the effects on feed intake, nutrient digestibility, performance and economical profit above feed cost of adding rumen buffer to supplemental ground maize with ad libitum mixture of rice straw and berseem (30:70 DM basis).
