The effect of 6 nitrogen fertilization rates on grain yield, yield components and lodging was investigated in winter triticale cultivars Dagro, Largo and Malno in a field experiment carried out in 1986-88 on good wheat complex soil near Szczecin, Poland. The fertilization treatments applied at 3 times during the season were regarded as two groups of rates: (0-0-0, 40-0-0, 40-40-0, 40-40-40 and 0-0-0, 0-40-0, 40-40-0, 80-40-0).
