Plantago lanceolata and Trifolium repens were grown under ambient (400 micro mol mol-1) and elevated (650 micro mol mol-1) atmospheric CO2 conditions. Plants were inoculated with the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus Glomus mosseae and given phosphorus in the form of bone meal.
