In field experiments in 1995-97 at Junagadh, sugarcane Co.C.671 was given 25 t farmyard manure/ha, 5 t green manure/ha, 5 t vermicompost/ha or 2 kg azotobacter/ha in combination with 100% or 50% of the recommended inorganic NPK fertilizer application rates.
