In a field trial at Durg, Madhya Pradesh in rabi 1996/97, berseem (Trifolium alexandrinum) green fodder yield was 25.6, 39.0, 42.2 and 43.1 t/ha with 0, 15, 30 and 45 kg N/ha, respectively, while corresponding seed yields were 0.29, 0.31, 0.33 and 0.35 t/ha.
