A field experiment was conducted at the Jordan University Experimental Station, Central Jordan Valley, during 1992-94 to asses the effects of 3 N-fertilizer sources (urea, ammonium sulfate and potassium nitrate) applied at 4 rates (0, 125, 250 or 375 kg N/ha) on potato Spunta plant growth, yield and tuber quality. Application of each N fertilizer increment resulted in a significant increase in plant height, stem number/plant, leaf chlorophyll, and leaf N and K content.
