Effect of surfactant and calcium compounds extracted from oyster shell on calcium content of apple fruit treated alone or with agrochemicals

Addition of surfactants to OS-Ca (calcium compound extracted from oyster shell) increased calcium concentration of apples when sprayed four times before harvest. Among the surfactants examined, the combined treatment of PVA-95 and ST-75 exhibited the highest effectiveness. The combined application of OS-Ca with several fungicides did not alter the chemical properties of fungicide or OS-Ca.
