Effect of wind speed and windbreaks on evaporation on three different soil types

The effects of wind speed and windbreaks on evaporation, in various conditions of temperature and air humidity, on three soils with different textural classes (sandy, loamy and silty-clayey) are reported. The results show that evaporation increases progressively as the wind speed increases. Such evaporation increases are greater with the higher wind speeds in connection with high temperature and high air humidity conditions.
