Effects of various nitrogen fertilizer sources and rates on the yield and yield components of the wheat cultivar Saraybosna



Turkish Journal of Agriculture and Forestry 22(1): 59-63



In a field trial on the Bursa plain, Turkey, wheat Saraybosna was given 0, 8, 12, 16 or 20 kg N/da as ammonium nitrate, ammonium sulfate, urea or compound NP fertilizer. N source generally had no significant effect on yield or yield components, while yields were increased by N but did not vary significantly between rates.
