Of 8 fungicides tested in India 2% methoxyethyl-mercury chloride (as Ceresan Wet) resulted in max. sunflower seed germination, but poor results were obtained with 0.1% aureofungin, 0.2% mancozeb (as Dithane M-45), 0.1% carboxin (as Vitavax) and 0.1% carbendazim (as Bavistin).
