Epidemiological studies on trichinellosis in Iasi county, Romania, in 1990-1994

In the 5-year period, trichinellosis was diagnosed with a trichinoscope in 29 (0.025%) of 114 011 farm-killed pigs and 10 (0.0008%) of 1222 149 abattoir-killed pigs.
