Abstract
Susceptibility of 32 lucerne cultivars to leaf spot diseases was evaluated under conditions of natural infection. Cultivar Alfagrase was most resistant and the most susceptible was the Triesdouver-luzerne cultivar. The most common leaf spot diseases were summer black stem and leaf spot (Cercospora medicaginis), rust (Uromyces striatus) and Leptosphaerulina leaf spot (Leptophaerulin briosiana [L. trifolii]).
