Data are tabulated for particle size, pF curves and groundwater levels at six soil profiles on sand dunes at Siwa oasis, Egypt. Upward capillary flow from the groundwater table through sandy soil layers gave wetting ranging from 5.5 to 7.6% (on volume basis) at a height of 75 cm above the water table. The wetting of the 0-75 cm layer above groundwater table ranged from 14.8 to 18.9% depending on soil properties.
